Bescause of maintenance the tunnels are regularly closed for traffic. To reduce the inconvenience caused, the work is done at night. Abnormal loads traffic may not follow the local diversion (outside the tunnel).
The width is restricted to 3 metres for traffic through one tunnel tube.
Transports wider than 3 metres are not allowed!
Note: for road works in the Kennedy tunnel, the exit ‘Linkeroever’ is closed to all traffic from the N70.
