Belgium - UPDATE Mandatory registration in the Antwerp Port Area

For all exceptional transport, width more than 3,50 m, for which there is a modification or removal of signage and/or road infrastructure, to take place in the port area of Antwerp (with exception of the motorways (A12/R2/E34) and the regional roads (N180/N129/N101/N101a/ central road of Sint-Antoniusweg) must be notified to the port area of Antwerp through email:  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with all information regarding the road and signage and/or road infrastucture to be removed.


For any traffic light or traffic bollards to be removed , in management of the port area of Antwerp, must be notified/discussed at least 3 weeks in advance before transport with the port company of Antwerp. If notified later, they can not assure that all modifications or removal will be arranged in time. Traffic bollards: This email address is being protected from spambots. The port area of Antwerp is located as well as on the right bank of the Schelde (territory Antwerp) as on the left bank of the Schelde (port Waasland, territory Beveren). The demarcation is presented visually on the map: Afbakening Havengebied Antwerpen.pdf.


The motorways (A12, R2 and A11/E34/N49) and the regional roads (N180/N129/N101/N101a/ central road of sint-Antoniusweg) are exempt of duty to report.
